Aker Solutions' KBeDesign™ Team has worked with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) on many projects during the last few years. The team has done research on a variety of fields related to Knowledge Based Engineering, together with students and professors form the study programme Engineering Sciences & ICT. Through a frame agreement between Aker Solutions and NTNU, the collaborative effort has now been formalized and organized together with other innovative efforts.

As one of ten Innovation Cribs, the KBeDesign™ team will continue to focus on developing engineering software and methods for accelerating Aker Solutions' engineering processes.

Østmoen is heading the innovation crib together with Prof. Ole Ivar Sivertsen at NTNU.
