The KBeDesign™ Model Converter takes a product model from KBeDesign™ Product Modeler as input and generates 3D CAD geometry and reports for the various purposes needed.

From one model to any number of reports

In addition to geometry to the relevant 3D CAD system, it is possible to retrieve numerous reports in formats that suits the existing IT infrastructure. Relevant reports includes traditional engineering reports like weight, MTO and tank volumes, but also input to FEM analyses at different levels of detail and dimensioned graphics, more accurate cost estimates, and many more. A flexible architecture allows the KBeDesign™ Model Converter to be easily expanded to other types of reports for cost estimation and fabrication.

Application-independent

Since the product model is independent of any 3D CAD or analysis software package, geometry and reports can be generated for any system used in the relevant project. The KBeDesign™ Model Converter can also be used to convert 3D models between different CAD systems.
